Joshua Machinga
is the director of Village Volunteers program for producing
the ceramic filters in Kiminini. He heads a program of
sustainable agriculture, education and health for the
village of about 5,000 inhabitants. The Village Volunteers
Kiminini project will be capable of producing 10,000 filter
pots per year providing clean, disease-free water for
families living in that region near the major city of
Kitale, home to 500,000 Kenyans. |
