Rorry's conference room.

You are now one of us with many months to
look forward to. Pauline received her blue badge at historic Aug.
30 meeting. Pauline will continue to help us with the French
phrase for "Where Shall We Have Dinner?"

Board Meeting --
Officers and Directors will meet Tuesday,
Sept. 13, at 5:30 p.m. at Brittany Park. Agenda includes continued
review of club bylaws, organization and procedures. Not to mention
membership, off-site meetings, etc.
SATURDAY --
Plans are to complete the power washing at Rotary Community Park
in two shifts on Saturday, Sept. 17. Details at this Tuesday's
meeting. Need hoses and "bodies".
Membership Proposed --
The club officers and directors have voted
to extend an invitation of membership to Bob Platte,
a guest the past two meetings, who is taking over a Farmers
Insurance office in Woodinville. This is the first of two postings
of this membership proposal. His sponsors are Tana Baumler and Pam
Johnstone. Inquiries as to this proposal should be directed to the
club secretary.
Sept. 20 at Brightwater --
On Tuesday, Sept. 20 we will meet at the
Environmental Education and Community Center at Brightwater for a
preview of this new facility. There will be NO meeting at
the Grange that morning. We will be guests of King County
and the Friends of the Hidden River. We will learn a bit about the
plans for the Center and have time for a tour of the facilities,
including the two science labs. The official grand opening of the
facility is a daylong happening Sept. 24.

We have provided an electronic
SAVE the DATE document for members to forward or send
to their invitees. Printed
copies are available at Tuesday meetings. The plan is
for all registrations to be done electronically this year. Members
will be responsible for seeing that their guests are registered.
