Hugo Reporting and Snapping

Max proves he has the magic touch...draws the white marble with flair (flare ?) and announces to all that his $700 winnings will be donated to Rotary Foundation! We start over! There were no formal challenges.

The Miro Report

Exchange Student Miro Gonzalez revealed
a little about getting together with other
exchange students and mentioned that he
hoped the Husky basketball team snaps out of its
losing ways when he takes in the
Cal game Thursday night. Have you an experience you would like to share with Miro in the coming weeks?

Welcome Anel
President Erv presented her red badge and the club roster/notebook
to our newest member,
Anel Mercado SanJuan

Please make sure you get acquainted with Anel and provide an
autograph in the notebook.

All about choices
Community Service Committee Chair Greg Gratz subbed for Club Service Director Greg Riggs in presenting members with
three potential "hands on" projects the
club could commit to in the future. Members were reminded that the club had pledged to provide
stewardship at Rotary Community Park once
it was operating and that there appears several
maintenance projects ready to go in the portion of the 18-acre site that involves trails and wetlands. A second project at the Environmental Education Center at Brightwater also drew expressions of support from those attending.
President Erv made it clear that the 450 pounds of food would be donated to Rotary First Harvest and not necessarily the speaker.

Respectfully Submitted,
