Alive, Well and 'Now Playing' -
Woodinville Repertory Theater
announces its 2010 season with nine performances in
February of Noel Coward's "Blithe Spirit". The
Theater was founded in 1998 by our honorary member,
the late Peg Phillips, and is currently in the phase
of finding a permanent home and keeping the curtain
going up year-to-year. "Spirit" opens at the Si
Siverson Theater at Inglemoor High School on Friday,
Feb. 12 for seven weekend evening shows and matinees
on Feb. 14 and 21.
Full details for theater
lovers. Tickets are $15 at the door, or $12 through
Brown Paper
tickets.
Max on the mend - Fresh from a
brush with a far more serious injury, past president
Max Zellweger has every intention of being at
Tuesday's meeting. A week earlier, as a pedestrian,
was involved in a scrape with a SUV on Mercer Island
and luckily suffered only scrapes and bruises.
Needless to say, he'll be taking it easy again this
week. The accident will prevent him from flying to
Switzerland this month for his father's 90th
birthday.
