Proposed amendment to Club ByLaws -
Following
study and approval at the January 20 Board
meeting, a copy of proposed amended bylaws
for the club were electronically dispatched
to all active members for their
consideration. The proposal will be
presented to the membership at this week's February
2 meeting for discussion and action.
Proposals include adding a sixth director
position to club leadership in the area of
public relations and defines two levels of
active membership within the club. A senior
active category would be added. Passage of
bylaw amendments requires a two-thirds
affirmation by those members in attendance. |

WRCF Trustees and Officers elected -
Trustees of our non-profit
designated Woodinville Rotary Charitable Foundation
met last Tuesday and elected Tana Baumler and Greg
Riggs as trustees to succeed Al Marsh and Chris
Boland. Rotary club president-elect-elect Baumler
was elected chair to succeed Erv DeSmet effective
July 1. John Hughes was re-elect
secretary-treasurer. The trustees amended the WRCF
bylaws to provide two-year terms for trustees. The
WRCF is responsible for the financial affairs
of the annual charity fund-raising event held each
October and manages the Foundation's charitable
giving plan.
On Leave - Past president
Jay Soloff has been granted a leave of absence by
the board of directors.

Alive, Well and 'Now Playing' -
Woodinville Repertory Theater
announces its 2010 season with nine performances in
February of Noel Coward's "Blithe Spirit". The
Theater was founded in 1998 by our honorary member,
the late Peg Phillips, and is currently in the phase
of finding a permanent home and keeping the curtain
going up year-to-year. "Spirit" opens at the Si
Siverson Theater at Inglemoor High School on Friday,
Feb. 12 for seven weekend evening shows and matinees
on Feb. 14 and 21.
