Following
study and approval at the January 20 Board
meeting, a copy of proposed amended bylaws
for the club were electronically dispatched
to all active members for their
consideration. The proposal will be
presented to the membership at the February
2 meeting for discussion and action. |

Notice of Annual meeting of WRCF -
Chair Erv DeSmet announces
that the Trustees of the Woodinville Rotary
Charitable Foundation will hold their annual meeting
on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. at the
Sammamish Valley Grange Hall. The Foundation is
separate from Woodinville Rotary Club and has the
responsibility for managing the financial affairs of
the annual fund-raising charity event as well as the
distribution of proceeds through the charitable
giving plan requested by the Woodinville Rotary Club
leadership. Nominated for two-year terms on the
Foundation board are John Hughes and Greg Riggs.
Nominated for one-year terms on the Foundation board
are Erv DeSmet, Eric Greenwood and Tana Baumler.
Rotarians interested in the operation of the
Foundation are invited to attend the annual meeting.
Chair DeSmet and secretary-treasurer Hughes serve in
their offices through June 30 at which time the new
slate of trustees take office and hold a special
meeting to elect officers for July 2010 through June
2011. Greg Riggs presently serves in the capacity of
financial controller for the charity event and Mike
Visse will continue to provide accounting and tax
preparation support.

His name
is Amit. He is 22 years old doing a
business of advertising material and
also ink which is used for printing. and
also takes care of his dad's business
that is a bakery and also a restro. He
is already done with university and now
studying LAW.
Our
families are good family friends and are
very well aware that we are dating since
over 15 months now.

Check out
page 17 of the February edition of The
Rotarian and the article titled
"Talking Etiquette with Corinne Gregory".
The item features the Redmond Rotarian who
has developed SocialSmarts, a program
available to public schools that teaches
children about manners, values, and ethics.
Some of you may know the featured Rotarian
as Corinne Gregory-Fiske whose fame also
includes membership in the dynamic Rotary
Club of Woodinville. And, she has been known
to attend our meetings with Jay and their
three daughters. |
A 21-Acres
invite to see solar energy features up close

Our partners at 21
Acres want to keep you informed of programs
directly related to solar energy. A direct
objective coming out of a meeting planned
for January 29th, is movement toward a
community solar installation. We invite you
to join us. 21 Acres
will host an afternoon meeting beginning at
1 p.m. on Friday, January, 29, to explore
opportunities to partner on energy-related
projects. Please see the
attached invitation, which
includes links for additional information
about the 21 Acres Center for Local Food and
Sustainable Living.
This is a meeting
targeted to key people in business, academic
and civic communities.
