Club picnic Saturday: The club's annual family picnic will be held on Saturday, August 22, at 21 Acres in Woodinville. The picnic crew of Susan Webster, Tana Baumler, Steve Dolan, Alex Hopkins, Pam Johnstone and Bill Schink have a great event planned. Starting time: 4 p.m. Members of the 21 Acres program will provide tours of the site, including the 18 acres of vegetable and berry crops under production. Volunteers will be asked to help with setup and the gathering and preparation of a community salad for the event.  Stay tuned to final info at Tuesday's meeting.

21 Acres is located on the South Ring Road bypassing downtown Woodinville. Next to Zante's Farm.

Vineyard Report - Molbak Plant Farm, Block 2

The two tallest vines are Crimson Chris' and Erv DeSmet's, each just  over three feet in height and in a dead heat for tallest vine. Both vines display a "presidential" aura, promising extreme brix
yield in fall of 2010 for Grace Town Vineyards.
