Chief Don Fitzpatrick Jr. Reporting

Today’s guests included our speaker, Jacki Lorenz, Development Director of Rotary First Harvest; Galen Sauve, our Auction support representative; and Everett Butler, from Chateau St. Laurent.

Bill Schink introduced Jacki, who discussed the structure and efforts of Rotary First Harvest.  She explained how they share the system with other areas and benefit by trading food products.  She also told us about deals they are making to save money and serve the public better, such as gas savings and acquisitions of equipment.  She also reminded us of the importance of the gift cards to generate money.

Eric said things are looking very good for the auction with a sell out crowd of 340 confirmed people.  We will have 25 live items and lots of silent items too.  Looks like it will be a fun party!

Alex just came back from England and brought two flags from clubs over there.  He relayed his experiences and was so pleased that he donated a couple of happy bucks for it.

Roger Stark turned 61 and is a new helicopter pilot.  Max missed the marble, and Marv won the wine.

See you at the auction.
