Susan Webster Reporting

Science and Management of Addictions or SAMA, is a family support & advocacy network for families with sons or daughters addicted to drugs or alcohol.  Thank you for sharing the message about the science and management of addictions.  Purpose:  to eliminate addiction in Youth where addictions are the highest. 

Message of SAMA is two fold:  Research and Advocacy 

Affiliated with Robert Day of the Fred Hutch and CJ Taylor from Susan G Komen Foundation where research dollars have been set up for the study of substance abuse.

  

Treatments/Support

  • Family Navigator

  • Parent Support Groups

  • Advocacy and Public Policy

  • Assisted Research

  • Build treatment facility in WA

  • Identity Treatments

  • Parallel Touch Center

 

The Mission of the SAMA Foundation is to eliminate the disease of substance addiction in youth by advancing research, education and treatment.  

Supported by Salmon Days and Issaquah Rotary Club 

Members expressed appreciation of the speaker to address the issue of stigma and family struggles to find treatment within “the system”.
