Bill Schink Reporting

With President Rick off for a week of skiing, President-elect Chris presided over the festivities and opened the meeting at 7:30AM.     John Creason led us in the flag salute, Terry Jarvis led a group invocation, Al Marsh “winged” the morning song with a zippy rendition of Zip-a-dee-do-dah.

Erv DeSmet introduced the guests. Sharon McCain and Patricia Gustafson from Northshore Senior Center.  The Center will hold a fund raiser on April 26, 2008 and requested we save the date on our calendars.  Rebecca Porter from Bothell H.S. requested us to participate in hearing and critiquing senior culminating projects – a graduating requirement.  This is a great experience and those interested should contact Rebecca.

The dinner was donated by the winery and was a major fund-raiser at last year's Wine'n Shine. Bill Schink thanked the Club for the Rotary First Harvest Fundraising.  Through the efforts of Mike Visse/Loomis Foundation, Becky Clark/Brittany Park and club donations, the total raised was $6,667 – great job!!
