January 29 charter night sign-ups:

Get Ready to Sign Up for the January 29 Event!

As Eric and Rick mentioned Tuesday, the Woodinville Rotary Club has a major event on January 29, 2008 at the North Creek Center on Cascadia/UWB Campus. This event is both our 5th Tuesday social celebrating our Charter date and our 2008 auction kick off meeting. The fund-a-need this year is the Sports Fields of Woodinville or as we refer to it: Sports a’ Field.

The January 29 event will bring the community together on the Sport Field project and draw additional "sports minded "people to our Oct 4 auction. Rotary and NW Parks Foundation are inviting members of the community that support the sports field project. We have invited 28 of our most supportive participants that have attended past charity auctions. Additionally, our community partners Banner Bank and Woodinville Wine Country will be participating.

We want a great turnout of our membership and will be circulating a signup sheet at the January 15 Tuesday morning meeting. Rick suggested that if you have friends that would be supportive of Sports a’ Field please extended an invitation—we would ask that you extend the invitation and get back to us with the information. So check you calendars and cadre of friends and be ready to sign up Tuesday. If you won’t be there Tuesday, please E-mail me your attendance plans and the names of other invitees.

This is going to be a great night with Landau Catering providing the dinner, Hugo providing some of the wine and Rick as master of ceremonies.

                                                                                    Thanks.  Bill Schink

IMPORTANT FOOTNOTE: To insure you will have a favorite wine or other beverage for the evening, it would be most helpful if each member could bring a bottle at either the January 15 or 22nd meeting to be included in the offerings to members and guests on the night of the 29th!
