A Celebration of the Life of Karen Forys will be held Oct. 7 at 2 p.m. at the Bellevue Presbyterian Church.

Dr. Forys served as Northshore school superintendent the past 13 years. She was a past president of Northshore Rotary Club and was named the state's Superintendent of the Year and a national finalist for that honor in 1999. We were fortunate to have met with her this past day after Labor Day when she encouraged our club's efforts to:
