News of Import and Interest to Woodinville Rotarians

Installation dinner chair Daryl Eckland asks that members attending
the June 24 event bring a bottle of wine to the June 3 meetings
in anticipation of it being served the night of the change of command. Have you signed up and selected your meal preference?

Exchange student chair Larry Duffield is looking for host families
for the young woman arriving from Bolivia in August.

Quarterly membership invoices went out recently. Notice a small increase in quarterly charges? This reflects the decision to charge $125 per person for Wine'n Shine 2008 attendance (increased from $100 each).

Wine'n Shine Steering Committee next meeting will be June 13 at 3 p.m. at the offices of Jay Fiske's NW Benefit Auctions in Bellevue.

The club has received a $2,000 matching grant for scholarship endowment purposes from the state's Higher Education Coordinating Board. The funds will be added to a Woodinville Rotary-sponsored endowment held in the Northshore Scholarship Foundation.

For those collecting wine donations for Wine'n Shine in October, you can bring the cases or selection of bottles to a meeting and they will be stored in the club temperature-controlled storage unit.
