Rotary First Harvest
Forms for individual donations to this Rotary program were distributed at the last meeting and more will be available this week. See Bill Schink's latest report on the status of our club's support.

Dictionaries and our literacy project
The club's commitment to place brand new dictionaries in the hands of each third grader in eight Woodinville area elementary schools is moving forward. Community service director Susan Webster reports the dictionaries are ready for distribution and she'll be looking to members to help with the delivery the three days prior to Thanksgiving. Details at Tuesday's meeting.

Proposed for Membership
The Board has voted to extend an invitation for membership to Julian Denes. Be sure to get acquainted at upcoming meetings. This is the second of two notices to be posted concerning the proposed membership.

Julian Denes recently moved to the area following graduation from UCLA law school. He is a resident of Kenmore, offices in Bothell and coaches youth soccer in Woodinville.

Hopelink Luncheon Nov. 8

Eric Greenwood is heading up efforts to fill our Rotary table at the annual luncheon supporting Hopelink. The event is again being held at Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue on Wednesday and we need 10 members/spouses/etc. to attend this inspiring event. Noted Newsweek columnist, Pulitzer Prize winner and author Anna Quindlen is this year's featured speaker. Contact Eric if you would like to represent our club. Hopelink -- founded in Bothell and Woodinville -- is marking its 35th anniversary.   Details
