Holiday party
The
club will hold our annual holiday party on Tuesday, December
5 at 6 p.m. at Monte Villa Farmhouse. A sign up sheet will
be circulated again at the Tuesday meeting. (Quarterly dues cover one
person's participation and guests will be billed to their
member-hosts.) Chair Eric Greenwood requests that those
attending bring a wine bottle or two for an informal wine
tasting to go with the food and entertainment that evening. The
Mike Dennis trio will provide instrumental music and holiday
music and Al Marsh has agreed to lead the singing that night.
There will be NO morning meeting that week. |

Notes - Board actions
The Board voted
a grant of $40,000 to Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center at
this past monthly Board meeting. The dollar amount reflects the
final accounting of the Fund-a-Need segment of Wine'n Shine
2006. The Board will meet December 5 to continue deliberations
over distribution to the other 14 beneficiaries. Preliminary
reports show the charity fundraising event netted more than
$150,000 this year. Funds to Little Bit will be presented
during our January 30,2007 celebration recognizing the
club's 20th anniversary of receiving our charter from Rotary
International.

our “service project” for that day. We’ll have a lot
of fun and hopefully get a lot done on the
trail construction project. President Gary Whitsell is
determined that Woodinville be at the top of the list for club
member participation -- there could be a lobster dinner in
store! An East Coast Rotary district has challenged District
5030 which would reciprocate with a salmon meal.
