News and Views . . . for May 8

Rotary Reporter and Club-Secretary-Elect Julian Denes covers the May 1 meeting supported graphically by some awesome work from Snappy. The Prez passes out a pair of blue badges and announces another Rotary Community Park work party for Sunday, June 3 in the club's ongoing stewardship commitment to this important project. . . Program guru Jorge Gonzalez (an Irishman fresh from his confusing St. Cinq d Mayo Patrick's celebration) notes a couple of changes in the program schedule, adding ambassadorial scholar Kristina Server to the June 19 calendar. . . we'll be signing up scholarship breakfast "volunteers" this week, too.
