Greetings Rotary Rooters!

 

As we discussed at Tuesday's meeting, we are getting very close to meeting our objectives for attendance; wine procurement; and, are creating, through Vicki Puckett's imagination, a first class entertainment event for our Wine'n Shine 2008 on October 4th. 

To push the event over the goal line (think like a Duck not a Husky), we need to make this last week or so real productive by continuing to ask your friends who will support education, scholarships, and the Woodinville Sports Field to join us for the evening of fun and community purpose.

 We will also benefit from a few more procured items.  As Jay Fiske has advised, we have a great line up of food and wine related items and need additional "Unique Experiences."  Listed below is my contribution which might trigger something that you can provide:

                                            Go Sailing With Mr. and Mrs. Bonkers

                Join the Greenwoods on their 38' German Sailboat for an afternoon sail from 

                Shilshole to Port Madison on Bainbridge Island.  Includes dinner and wine

                 for a party of four.

 

This kind of thing could work just as well on an RV, airplane, or classic Nash automobile!

 At this Tuesday's meeting, we'll devote the time to reviewing the entire game-plan for the Charity Event so you will be able to be great Rotary ambassadors for your guests,
