Donald L. Fitzpatrick, Chief of Police, Township of Grace, announced
this morning that he has finally solved the mystery of the counterfeit
Rotary fine waivers and is bringing the culprits to justice.
By using coercion and threats upon one Guiseppe “Guido” Truglio,
during the interrogatory process, Chief Fitz learned who the
perpetrators really were, and that Truglio was only a willing and
unwitting messenger. Nonetheless,
Truglio was being retained, but it has now been determined that Truglio
has fled the country, and has
been reported seen somewhere in South America with a foxy blonde woman
at his side. Chief Fitz is asking the Mayor for an appropriation to
personally bring Truglio back to justice.
Chief Fitz estimates that it will take “a week or ten days”
to do this. Both he, and his assistant, will have to travel to South
America and do extensive in-country espionage.
waivers
which will be exchanged one for one for authentic waivers during the
next two Rotary meetings. Fitz
said, “We will endeavor to keep people in their houses and we are
willing to renegotiate the interest on un-paid fines”.
When contacted by a senior member of the Rotary Reporter team, the Grace
Provisional Rotary Club past-president-for life Gustav T. Williger
declined comment or acknowledgement of any role the provisionals may
have played in this controversy. |
