Meet Cecil Wells

He'll describe his life's journey to reading not only for himself but as a tool for success for his children. While in his '40s, Cecil discovered Hopelink's East Side Literacy program which helped him improve beyond a third grade level in reading.

About
Fund-a-Need

2007

Wine'n Shine this year is all about Literacy and the resources needed to provide the tools for children and adults in our communities to be able to read, write and comprehend.  It goes far beyond the traditional "readin, writin and rithmatic".  Literacy is understanding, interpreting and applying written material to accomplish daily tasks and function in our society.
Woodinville Rotary Club cares about a persons ability to read, write and comprehend and that is why we choose Literacy as our Fund –A –Need for this 17th Annual Charity Event.  This is how we would like to spell:

S E R V I C E.

Be prepared to raise your bid card to fund our literacy beneficiaries
