Anniversary party January 31:
Celebrating 25 years of service to the
Woodinville region. 6 p.m. Potluck at Crystal Lake Clubhouse, the
scene of our popular holiday party last December.
Please sign up via email to Pam Johnstone:
ps.bd.johnstone@comcast.net
and advise if you will bring an appetizer,
a salad, or a main dish. Dessert
provided. Signup sheets will be available at Tuesday's meeting,
but emailing is best so the
committee has an idea on how many will be attending and how the
food selections will work out.
Thirty -three individuals (14
from the sponsoring Northshore Rotary Club) signed a charter
application in October of 1986 and the charter was granted and
presented on January 31, 1987 during a banquet at the Bear Creek
Country Club. Five of those charter members are still active with
the club in this, our silver anniversary year.
This special gathering is
informal, but the event is important as a reminder to ourselves of
the many good things Woodinville Rotary does and has done for our
community.
Plan on bringing a bottle of wine or beverage
of choice in addition to a food item.
For food details, contact either Pam or Tana
Baumler. For arrangements etc., contact Eric Greenwood, Gordy
Green or Jeff Lair.

Join these charter members at the Anniversary
Potluck Tuesday, January 31 at Crystal Lake Clubhouse
Charter members clockwise from top left: Terry
Jarvis, John Ive, Daryl Eckland, John Hughes and Marv Workman (our
first full-year president).
Programs for 2012:
Got an idea for a program you would like to
see at a Rotary meeting in 2012?
Jorge Gonzalez
is coordinating the schedule and will welcome suggestions.
Openings are available beginning in March.
